    1. How do I confirm my stay at Montego Bay?
      A.You will need to send an inquiry to sales@montegobaygoa.com, or fill in the online inquiry form to check availability. You will receive bank details from us and you will need to transfer your entire stay amount to confirm your booking.
      All bank/transfer charges are to be borne by you.
    2. What is the minimum no of nights that I need to stay to confirm my booking?
      A.For non-festive period, you will need to stay a minimum of 2 nights to confirm bookings at Montego Bay. During festive period, ie 22nd Dec 2011 to 4th Jan 2012, the stay period is minimum 5 nights.
    3. How many Log Cabins/Luxury Tents/Casa-de-Mudanca/Beach Villas does Montego Bay Have?
      A.There are 8 Log cabins(AC), 5 AC rooms in Casa-de-Mudanca, 12 Luxury Tents, and 1 Beach Villa.
    4. How many people can each room accommodate/Do you have triple occupancy rooms?
      A.The Log Cabins, Luxury Tents and rooms in Casa-de-Mudanca are all double occupancy rooms. While the Beach Villa can accommodate 4. Extra bed can be put in the room at an additional charge.
    5. What are the extra person/Bed charges per night?
      A.Extra bed/person charges will be INR 550 from 1st Oct 2011 to 21st Dec 2011. INR 1000 from 22nd Dec 2011 to 4th Jan 2012. INR 550 from 5th Jan 2012 to 20th May 2012. NOTE: Extra bed charges will be charged for any person above 2 years, even those who opt not to take an extra bed.
    6. Can I extend my stay at Montego Bay?
      A.Yes you can extend your stay on arrival subject to availability of rooms.
    7. How do I confirm my wedding at Montego Bay?
      A.Montego Bay confirms a minimum 4 days/3 night wedding. For this you will need to book all the rooms during the wedding period. For more information and details of Menus, Availability, Lighting, Sound, Deco etc send a mail to sales@montegobaygoa.com
    8. How long does it take to confirm my booking?
      A.As soon as the money reaches Montego Bay’s bank account your booking is confirmed. We will also send you a mail within 24 to 48hrs confirming the same.
    9. Can I change/shift to another room on arrival?
      A.Yes you can shift/change your room on arrival or during your stay to experience stay in different types of accommodation available with us, subject to availability of the preferred room. There will be no charge for shifting/changing rooms. The tariff for room occupied will be applicable. No refunds will be entertained.
    10. Can I check into my room before 12pm?
      A.Yes you can check into your room between 8am to 12pm subject to availability. Please note 30% of room charges are applicable for early check-in.

  2. Cancellation Procedure/Policy
    1. What is the Cancellation Policy?
      A. For your stay at Montego bay from 1st Oct to 21st Dec and from 5th Jan to 20th May
      If you inform us more than 3 days(72hrs) prior to check-in time that you wont be able to stay with us then you are eligible for 100% credit which you can avail of before end of season (May of every year). If you chose for 100% credit please note that you will not receive any balance refund amount, but you are entitled to use the entire amount over the course of the season, ie you don’t have to use it at one go.
      If you don't wish to avail of this facility then the cancellation policy is as below.
      1. 20% of the total price will be charged as a cancellation fee for more than 7 days preceding your check-in date (Subject to minimum 1 night stay)
      2. 50% of the total price will be charged as a cancellation fee for 7 to 3 days preceding your check-in date.
      3. Full package price will be charged in case less than 72 hours or a no-show.

      For your stay at Montego bay during festive period ie from 22nd Dec to 4th Jan.
      1. 10% of the total price will be charged as a cancellation fee for more than 30 days preceding your check-in date (Subject to minimum 1 night stay)
      2. 50% of the total price will be charged as a cancellation fee for 30 to 15 days preceding your check-in date.
      3. Full package price will be charged in case less than 15 days or a no-show.
      NOTE: Time values are local. (GMT+ 05:30 All of India is in the same time zone)
      • Wedding Booking will neither be cancelled nor modified. No deposit will be refunded.

    2. What is the Refund Policy?

      1. In case of refund, bank transaction charges will be deducted above the cancellation charges due.

    1. What is the check-in / Check out timing?
      A.Check-in is posted at 12:00pm. Check out at 11:00 am.
    2. What does the Complimentary Breakfast include? A.A-la Carte breakfast (Complimentary) served from 8:30am to 10:30am includes fresh juice, fine Indian teas and freshly brewed coffees, tropical seasonal fruits, porridge, cereals, yoghurt, choice of eggs, cornflakes, delicious breads and jams.
    3. What is the easiest and fastest way to reach Montego Bay?
      A.For International Travellers - Goa is easily reached by a short flight from India’s financial capital, Mumbai. Goa airport is Dabolim- from there you can either take a prepaid taxi (counter at the Airport) or you can let us know the date and time you are arriving and we will send a taxi to pick you at the Airport. The cost of pick-up will be additional and will be approximately the same rate as a pre-paid taxi.
      For Domestic travellers – You can reach Goa by Air, Train, or Bus.
      1. For those travelling by air, Goa has only 1 airport- Dabolim Goa.
      2. For those travelling by train get off at Thivim railway station. If the train has no schedule stop at Thivim get down at Karmali station, if not then Vasco, or Margao.
      3. If you are travelling by bus from Mumbai, Pune, etc. Get down at Mapusa Bus Stand. If you are travelling by bus from Bangalore etc, the last stop is Panjim get down there.
      4. You can either get a prepaid taxi at the place you get down or you can let us know the date and time of arrival and we will send a taxi to pick you. The cost of pick-up will be additional and will be approximately the same rate as a pre-paid taxi.
    4. What is the cost of Airport Pickup/ Railway station Pickup/ Bus stand/City pickup?
      A.The approximate rate for a non ac taxi from Dabolim Airport to Montego bay Beach Village-Morjim is INR 1000*.
      Approximate rate for a non ac taxi from Thivim station to Montego bay Beach Village-Morjim is INR 500*. 20 mins.
      Approximate rate for a non ac taxi from Mapusa bus stand to Montego bay Beach Village-Morjim is INR 400*. 15 mins
      Approximate rate for a non ac taxi from Panaji bus stand to Montego bay Beach Village-Morjim is INR 600*. 30 mins

    5. How far is Montego bay from the airport? Cost of Airport Pickup/drop?
      A.It will take you approximately 60 mins to reach Montego Bay from the Airport – 58km. Cost of a non AC taxi from Airport to Montego Bay is approximately INR 1000. The rates are subject to change due to ever changing fuel rate.
    6. How far is Montego Bay from the beach?
      A.We are situated on the beach itself. Morjim beach.
    7. Are pets allowed at Montego Bay?
      A.We are a pet friendly resort, subject to prior intimation and permission taken for bringing a pet. You will need to inform us in advance what kind of pet you will be travelling with and if we feel it will cause no harm to other guests we will grant you permission for your pet. We reserve the right to refuse certain pets. (ex. You may have a pet lion or a pet snake). NOTE: You will be solely responsible for any injuries/damages/breakages caused to either other hotel guests, employees or/and Montego Bay property and accept and agree to pay full damage that was caused by your pet.
    8. Is a physician/consultant available at Montego Bay?
      A.Montego Bay has Doctor on call facility which you can avail of at any time. Doctors charges are to be borne by you.
    9. Is there hot water?
      A.24hrs hot water is available in the Beach Villa, rooms of Casa-de-Mudanca and Log Cabins. On request hot water will be provided to Luxury Tents.
    10. Is the beach safe for Swimming?
      A.Yes Morjim beach is safe for swimming as it is a flat bed beach. Swimming at the beach will be at your own risk and Montego Bay will not be responsible for any accidents/unforeseen events that may occur at Sea. We also have a swimming pool at the resort. Swimming at the pool will be at your own risk and Montego Bay will not be responsible for any accidents/unforeseen events that may occur at the pool due to an individual’s capability/incapability of swimming/playing in the pool.
    11. Can I get bikes on Rent?
      A.Yes bikes on rent are easily available once at the resort. We can also arrange the same for you. Bike rent will be additional and does not come under Montego Bay Facilities.
    12. How often do you change linen?
      A.Bath Linen will be changed everyday, bed linen will be changed every 2nd day. Linen used is 100% cotton.
    13. What are the places to visit in Goa?

      A.Morjim beach is popularly known as Turtle Beach where the famous Olive Ridley turtles lay their eggs. The beach is protected and does not allow the use of any motor/machine used boats.
